乾電池1本で駆動するトランジスタ式で、前面ガラスにはスピーカーグリル風のバーチカルラインが刷られています。
木目プリントとはいえ、昭和的な道具としての顔がちゃんとある一台です。 構造はシンプルで、現代のようなIC制御ではないため、今の時代では逆に扱いやすいところも魅力。

Powered by a single dry cell, it features a printed wood-grain frame and vertical white lines on the glass reminiscent of vintage speaker grilles.

レコードプレーヤーもアンプもスピーカーも、ぜんぶ木の箱の中に隠してしまった、昭和版オールインワン。
いまの言葉で言えば、ちょっと大きめの「Bluetoothスピーカー」みたいな存在です。 おもしろいのは、メーカーが目指していたのが
ハイレゾ音質ではなく、「どんな部屋のどんな暮らしに置くか」という風景設計だったこと。
和箪笥の横にも、洋風サイドボードの上にも、そっと馴染むように考え抜かれた「家具調」の姿かたちです。 現代では、再生機として使う人は少ないかもしれません。
それでも、木目のキャビネットと真鍮色のグリルがつくる佇まいは、
スイッチを入れなくても部屋の空気を少しだけレトロに、少しだけ豊かにしてくれます。 スペックではなく、風景を買う感覚。

1980年代半ば、アラジンが国内向けにわずかに生産した放射式ストーブ「シルバーウイング J175S」 1980年代半ば、アラジンが国内向けにわずかに生産した放射式ストーブ「シルバーウイング J175S」。
英国ブランドでありながら、このモデルは日本独自の感性から生まれた設計です。 両端に折りたためる三面鏡のような反射板が印象的で、
光と熱を“向ける”という、日本人らしい空間づくりの思想が形になっています。
コンパクトながら放射効率が高く、デスク脇や玄関先など局所暖房に最適。 写真の2台（シルバーとブラック）は同年式・同形状の最終期モデルで、
いずれも整備済みの実動品。黒の個体はデッドストックとして長く保管されていたもので、
当時の説明書と保証書が揃っています。 現在、店頭在庫はブラック、シルバー、ホワイトの3種です。
流通期間の短さから現存数はごくわずか。
アラジンが日本で試みた『もう一つの方向性』を伝える、希少なシリーズです。 Aladdin “Silver Wing” J175S — a Japan-exclusive radiant heater from the mid-1980s.
Though born from a British brand, this model reflects a distinctly Japanese sensibility in both form and purpose. Its foldable side reflectors, shaped like a three-way mirror, were designed to direct warmth and light with quiet precision.
Compact yet efficient, it’s ideal for localized heating in small spaces. Both the silver and black units shown here share the same structure and year,
fully serviced and functional — with the black one retaining its original manual and warranty card. Currently available in-store in black, silver, and white.

前期の38型で試みられた改良を経て、39では燃焼・耐震性能ともに完成度を高めています。
現在の形は、長い時間をかけて洗練された「定番のかたち」といえるでしょう。 写真の４台はいずれもオーバーホール済みで、芯はすべて新品。
グリーンの２台は外装にわずかな経年を残した個体で、求めやすい価格帯のモデル。
 一方のアイボリー２台は2006年・2007年製で、置き皿の印刷デザインや付属品（ガード・五徳）の違いが見られます。
39といっても状態や仕様により幅があり、用途や好みに合わせて選べるのも魅力のひとつです。 なお、過渡期の38型も店頭に1台在庫があります。 Four Aladdin Model 39 heaters—two in pale green, two in ivory from 2006 and 2007.
All fully overhauled with new wicks, each showing subtle design updates such as changes in printed base plates and accessories.
Refined through decades of small improvements, the 39 represents Aladdin’s final, perfected form.

1978年製、アラジン「Silver Queen」J-300002。 深く絞られた反射板が近赤外線を前方へ集中させ、燃焼筒全体が赤熱して放射するラディアント方式。
燃焼筒は同径構造を持つ別個体から移植した新品を採用し、燃焼効率と安全性を高めています。 
反射板・ガード・トップカバーは海外専門工場で再メッキ、台座は艶消し再塗装。芯・パッキンも新品交換済み。
 ガラスとスチール、二種類のチムニーを用意しました。
英国の機構美を基礎に、日本の精密な調整と仕上げが加わった一台。

フジカの灯油ストーブ「ヤング」KSG-173は、そんな愛らしさをまとった昭和の放射型（反射式）です。 
背面の反射板で熱を前に集め、正面をじんわりと温めてくれます。こうした国産ストーブの生産個体が少ないものは、現在ほとんど市場に残っておらず、
とくに替え芯を探すのは至難の業。 
ところがこの一台には、当時の純正替え芯が未使用のまま一緒に保管されていたのです。
その貴重な芯を今回組み込み、燃焼試験を経て整備済み。
 デスク脇や玄関先など、限られた空間をピンポイントで温める“局所暖房”に最適。
対流式に比べて部屋全体の昇温はゆるやかですが、その分、狙った場所をしっかり暖めてくれます。
小ぶりながら、昭和らしい優しさと機能美を併せ持つ一台です。 Like a slice of strawberry shortcake—red and white, charmingly nostalgic.
Fujika “Young” KSG-173, a compact radiant heater from late-1970s Japan.
Small-production Japanese models like this are rarely found today,
and replacement wicks are almost impossible to obtain.
This example was preserved with its original unused Fujika wick, now installed and tested.
Steady ignition, smooth fuel rise, and gentle forward heat make it ideal for spot heating—
a desk corner or entryway.
Compared with convection models, it warms the whole room more slowly,

英国アラジン社の支社が製造した、バイアラジン・ラディアントヒーター（Bialaddin Radian 英国アラジン社の支社が製造した、バイアラジン・ラディアントヒーター（Bialaddin Radiant Heater）。 
円形の反射板に炎を映し出す、放射式の小型ストーブです。製造は1950〜60年代、ロンドン西部グリーンフォード工場。
英国規格「British Standard No.3300」を満たす構造で、
米国アラジンとは異なる、英国らしい端正な設計が光ります。 芯はアメリカから取り寄せた新品を使用し、完全オーバーホール済み。
日本語の説明書が付属しているため、当時の正規輸入品だったと見られます。
日本で実動・整備済みの個体は、たいへん珍しいものです。 透明なガラス製の燃料タンクが、このヒーターのもう一つの魅力。
金属の重厚さと並んで置かれると、光を受けて淡く輝き、

Produced in the 1950s–60s, this compact radiant heater reflects its flame in a circular mirror—
a quiet union of function and beauty from mid-century Britain. Fully overhauled with a new wick sourced from the U.S.,
and accompanied by its original Japanese manual,
indicating it was once a genuine import to Japan.
Such working examples are rarely found today. Its glass fuel bottle, both practical and elegant, captures light like a small lantern.
